Pack Transfer Service

We offer the below pack transfer options - please note this is subject to availability and you must have a water taxi booking with us. 

Pack transfers

We can hold your packs at Te Karetu (at either the Visitor Centre, or the Waikaremoana Holiday Park).

For a pack transfer of up to 3 packs cost will be $100.00. Any additional packs would be an extra $25.00 per pack.

We can deliver packs to/from:

- Te Karetu - HP (Holiday Park)

- Waiopaoa

- Korokoro

- Maraunui

- Marauiti

- Waiharuru

Please note:

- Pack requirments: All packs must weigh under 20kgs and can be a standard hiking pack, that one person can carry. We do not transfer chilly bins, or containers. 

- Name tag: Please attach a name tag to your pack with the same name the booking is made under. 

- Pack drop off areas: The skipper will leave your packs either in the kitchen of the hut, or the day shelter of the campsite if you're staying at Korokoro or Maraunui.

- Picking up packs from the Holiday Park or Visitor Centre at the end of your walk: speak to any of our staff and they will bring it out for you. If for any reason you are late and the buildings are closed you can head to the after hours at the Holiday Park and ring the buzzer.

- Dropping your packs off the night before or early in the morning: You can leave your packs at the Holiday Park after hours area under the shelter. A staff member will grab your packs and store for the skipper to pick up. Please be mindful if early in the morning to avoid ringing the buzzer. Rest assured your packs are safe here, there are cameras operating in this area also.
